Magic Bricks - Area Sales Manager (10-15 yrs)
Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Sales Manager for our Mumbai region. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in sales and team management, with a proven track record in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and achieving sales targets. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and leading a team of sales professionals, while also developing and executing effective sales strategies to increase our footprint in the Mumbai real estate market.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Sales Strategy and Execution :
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth in the Mumbai region.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets for the region.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive market penetration in both residential and commercial real estate sectors.
2. Team Leadership and Development :
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales executives to ensure they meet or exceed sales targets.
- Conduct regular training sessions, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Motivate and inspire the sales team to consistently deliver high performance and exceed sales expectations.
3. Customer Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, developers, and other stakeholders in the real estate industry.
- Address customer concerns, provide solutions, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for major clients and accounts in the region.
4. Market Research and Analysis :
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide actionable insights to the leadership team for strategic decision-making.
- Continuously monitor sales performance and market conditions to adjust strategies as needed.
5. Reporting and Forecasting :
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, and forecast.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of team achievements, KPIs, and any roadblocks.
- Ensure alignment of sales strategies with broader business objectives.
6. Collaboration and Cross-functional Coordination :
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer support teams to align sales efforts and deliver integrated solutions to customers.
- Provide feedback on product offerings and suggest improvements based on customer and market feedback.
7. Sales Operations & Process Optimization :
- Ensure that the sales process is followed correctly and efficiently, with a focus on optimizing lead conversion and sales closures.
- Manage sales tools and CRM systems to track performance and streamline operations.
Qualifications & Skills :
Experience :
- 10-15 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a managerial or team-leadership role.
- Experience in real estate, property technology, or related industries is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing high-performance sales teams.
Skills :
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute business plans.
- Analytical mindset with experience in sales forecasting and performance analysis.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus).

- Strong knowledge of the Mumbai real estate market and its dynamics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
