Katharos Foods is a startup making plantbased cheese and desserts. Our USP is that we use no preservatives and our products are natural, healthy, tasty and full of nutrition. We commenced in 3Q, 2019 and in a short span of time, we have launched a wide range of products which are available across India via both instore locations, apps and e-platforms. We- ve been awarded - Best Vegan Cheese- for 2021 by the PETA India Food Awards. We recently launched the World's 1st Plantbased cheese made from watermelon seeds.

Join our winning team

We are looking for someone who will manage our Media & Marketing Communications. Key responsibilities include the following tasks :-

- Social Media:

o Own and manage Instagram/fb page/Linkedin/Google my business

- Working with founder to create content Strategy for each month

- Planning & maintaining the grid with appropriate & creative captions & hashtags

- Proficient in Canva & other design tools, taking pics on iphone, editing them for social media including reels

- Actively replying to comments/DMs

- Monthly reporting of Social media statistics

- Website:

o Own and manage website

o Co-ordinate with web designer for any changes to be made

- Collaborations

o Other brands

o Influencers

o Celebrities

o Chefs

o Cafes/restaurants inclu pop-ups

o Collaborate with food photographers, if needed

- Curate recipes & gift boxes for special event and festive season

- Events:

o Be actively aware of upcoming Vegan events to participate

- Curators:

o Vegan/Health Basket for stores

o For festive events

- Colleges groups:

o Tap their what's app groups to create awareness about our brand

o Participate in college festivals

- Work with 3rd party aggregators to understand how to increase sales on their platform via Marketing:

o Swiggy

o Ping

o Thrive etc

- Co-ordinate with designer and printer for new designs

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, wants to grow with our company and is a team player. We have a close knit, small team and at times will have to pitch in to help with other tasks - the candidate will have ample opportunities to learn about other functions.
