Lyca Digital - Social Media Specialist (5-8 yrs)
A Social Media Manager is responsible for maintaining an engaging presence of various Lyca brands, on popular social channels. An ideal candidate should be able to conceptualise crisp content ideas to increase engagement across social media channels.
Responsibilities:
- Managing social presence of Lycagroup brands, across Europe, Australia and South Africa
- Publishing content across all social media channels, tracking response, presenting weekly dashboards
- Co-ordination with content, creative and global teams
- Engaging current followers on our social channels and increasing the follower base by putting engaging content and innovative creatives
- Competition analysis
- Good understating of google analytics
Qualification:
- Management degree in marketing is preferable. Otherwise, certification course in digital marketing/ social media marketing is also fine.
Experience:
- Relevant experience in social media marketing of at least 3-4 years is required.
Mandatory Skills:
- Good understanding brands/products/services
- Understands customer segmentation, behaviour/insights to be able to come up with targeted marketing programs
- Strong operational knowledge of publishing content across various social channels
- Is updated with latest advancements in social media space
- Has worked on social media management tool
- Understands how to extract reports from Google analytics
- Familiar with basics of SEO
- Flair for short form content writing
- Should be a good team player
- Must possess strong communication skills
- Ability to convey the desired message in the right tone, to have the right customer interaction
Technical Expertise:
- Experience in commonly used social media management tools, such as Hootsuite, Buffer, etc
