Lotus Edutech - Educational Counselor - Sales (0-2 yrs)
Role & Responsibilities:
- Understand all services provided by the Company for PG, Masters, Diploma, Certificate and MBA work-ex courses
- Do outbound calling on leads received through marketing activities/database & cold calling
- Handle inbound prospect calls/leads and convert them into students
- Find out and arrange meeting with relevant people in companies to arrange seminars and sell programs offered by the University for their employees
- Work on references
- Consult, counsel and follow up with potential students, understand their requirements, communicate details of the programs, suggest a roadmap, and sign them up for services
- Responding to prospect's queries over emails and following up consistently
- Enrol potential clients for services and then coordinate to make sure they receive the services enrolled for
- Aggressive sales approach with a consultative mindset
- Build a sales pipeline and achieve target numbers
- Responsible for generating revenue by converting leads received through marketing activities
- Maintain CRM and database of prospects
Education & Experience Requirements :
- Graduation degree is mandatory
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in admission/ education counselling. (Freshers with exceptional - fire-in-belly- and Communication skills can too apply)
- Familiarity with college, university and school programs
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with students
- Ability to hold conversation with senior industry professionals
- Good work ethics
- Should be willing to work in a start-up environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office
- Give preference to quality discussions rather than quantity
