Lords Institute of Engineering & Technology - Manager - Marketing - B2C (5-10 yrs)
Lords Institute of Engineering & Technology and Farah Institute of Technology are a group of Engineering Institutions that are based out of Hyderabad. Both the Institutions are more than 15 years old. These institutions are approved by AICTE, Affiliated to JNTUH and Accredited by NBA. The institutions are highly acknowledged by the industry and academia as can be seen by the rankings awarded by various agencies. The institutions are set to soon become deemed universities in the field of technical Education. At present, there are close to 500 employees in the group and around 4000 students (including 400+ International Students) pursuing various programs. The group has plans of further penetrating into the conventional education and skill development centre.
The promoters of the group are highly qualified (read CAs, alumni of BITS Pilani, ISB Hyderabad) and are in the sector for over two decades. They are looking for people who can work with them and help in transforming the organisation from a traditional family run setup to a professionally run organisation. They want people who will believe in their vision and work together to build mutually beneficial professional relationships.
Marketing Manager:
The group is in the process of overhauling its market positioning and brand perception. We are trying to improve the perceived brand value and increase the prospective student's willingness to pay while trying to explore new markets. A lot of initiatives and analytics are being done in order to position itself uniquely in a crowded and competitive market. The marketing manager will be responsible to strengthen the brand value and penetrate different markets. We promise a very hands-on experience that will have an immediate impact Group's topline. He/She will be working in consultation with the Board of Directors and other senior administrative staff on a daily basis.
Given this background, the marketing manager will be responsible to :
1. Devise and implement innovative strategies for changing brand perception and increasing willingness to pay
2. Plan and execute media campaigns for various initiatives that are undertaken from time to time.
3. Identify and devise strategies to effectively penetrate new markets
4. Work with brand consultants for developing branding campaign
5. Work in consultation with admission consultations to strengthen professional relationships.
6. Responsible for timely updates on various online and offline media platforms
7. Develop and manage content on websites and social media;
8. Work as a PR for the group while interacting with various news agencies in A.P and other states.
The candidate will be based out of Hyderabad corporate office.
Requirements :
- Should be fluent in speaking, reading and writing English and Hindi
- Should have excellent communication and presentation skills
- Should have working knowledge of SEO and SMO techniques
- Be willing to travel within and outside India
Education: MBA from a tier 2 Business school with an Engineering Degree
