Role Description:
As a Business Development Associate, you will support growth initiatives by identifying new clients and opportunities for our Essential Oils, Oleoresins, Herbal Extracts, and Antioxidants. Reporting to the Team Lead - Business Development, your role includes market research, client outreach, and promoting our product portfolio. You will assist in strategy execution, foster strong customer relationships, and analyze business performance to drive market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Promote the company's product portfolio, including Essential Oils, Oleoresins, Herbal Extracts, and Antioxidants, highlighting their value to meet client requirements.
- Conduct market research to analyze trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, sharing insights with the team.
- Devise strategies and techniques to achieve business development and sales targets within the assigned sector.
- Support price negotiations, prepare price offers, and facilitate contract/order confirmations with clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with current clients, identify new prospects through customer visits, calls, and online interactions, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, actively engaging with industry leaders on matters related to food ingredients, animal nutrition products, and their applications.
- Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability.
- Manage new product or project launches in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including R&D, sales operations, and purchasing, to ensure smooth business operations and timely order execution.
- Track and analyze business performance metrics, providing actionable insights to improve marketing performance across online, offline, and print channels.
- Reduce lead response time and proactively develop initiatives to maximize strategic profitability.
- Update clients regularly with market trends, shipment information, and other relevant updates.
- Prepare reports on sales performance, client interactions, and potential opportunities for review by the Team Lead.
- Address customer issues promptly and escalate to the Team Lead if required.
- Ensure timely collection of payments from clients while adhering to the company's Business Continuity Plan.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in developing natural ingredients based business.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
