Business Development Manager
- LeaseWorks provides cloud based asset management, customer relationship management, and other software products that help airlines and lessors save time, reduce costs, optimize revenue and manage risk. - LeaseWorks is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing customer facing team. The successful candidate would have a strong passion for sales, interest about the aviation industry, technology and solving customer problems. The role will involve hands own sales tasks, plus setting up processes that will be required to elevate how we achieve success in the market.
- This would involve general sales related activities such as cold-calling prospects, maintaining our CRM system, proactively reaching out to the customers, attending marketing events, understanding customer requirements through discovery calls, scheduling demos, working on presentations, sending proposals, structuring contracts, assist in closing deals and providing post-sell customer service - including invoicing and maintaining relationships. The Business Development manager will also share product and industry feedback from the field with our product and engineering teams.
Additional opportunities and responsibilities could include :
- Help support the company with all aspects of the customer buying journey.
- This includes reviewing incoming leads, discovering customer needs, coordinating calls for demo, pricing.
- Reach out to prospects and customers to explain company strategy and ask discovery questions to understand their needs. Communicate customer needs and results of the discovery calls to sales engineers to conduct an effective demo
- Take detailed notes on client meetings and update our CRM system
- Developer sales strategies with clients on specific products taking into account various product, prospect and competitive factors
- Help understand customer concerns and objection handling
- Conduct debrief sessions with prospects and internal resources to define strategies to close deals
- Attend contract negotiation calls with prospects and legal teams to document customer concerns
- Assist in closing deals and transitioning customers to services teams during the implementation phase Building ROI models to help clients understand the value associated with using LeaseWorks.
- Run sales / marketing campaigns and leverage various channels to create interest in the market. Attend industry conferences to promote the company, product, and brand (may require international travel).
- Come up with processes required to automate the customer journey from initial customer contact to contract closing. Work with marketing teams to generate content that would help create inbound demand.
Preferred experience and skills required for this role :
- Basic bachelor's degree, preferably in a computer related discipline2-6 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably to international clients
- Excellent communication skills Strong command of spoken and written English is a must.
- Graduate / Post Graduate degree with good scores
- High level of motivation and positive attitude when communicating
- Team player who is willing to do what it takes to achieve goals Software selling experience or software educational background is a plus.
- Experience within aviation is a big plus. Strong interest in learning new concepts and in the use of technology to solve business problems.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
