Job Description :
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Social Media Lead (Sports) to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our corporate vision and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement a strategic social media plan in alignment with the corporate vision and strategic direction.
- Strategize the commercial growth of the organization and develop a sustainable social media revenue generation model.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with external stakeholders and institutions.
- Present the organization's vision, mission, programs, and services compellingly on social media platforms.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to support business objectives.
- Drive executive communication strategies and campaigns for key stakeholders, partners, and sports federation bodies.
- Foster a high-performance work culture and develop the organization's talent and leadership capabilities.
- Spearhead internal/external programs that reinforce the organization's operating culture and philosophy.
- Lead decision-making on policies, procedures, and functional matters considering external market opportunities and regulatory developments.
- Develop governance mechanisms to monitor the effectiveness of systems, processes, and ways of working.
- Review and update progress on key organizational priorities and deliverables to leadership.
- Set priorities for management and invest in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
- Establish processes to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and legislations.
- Ensure business continuity and effective risk management measures.
- Oversee all fiscal activities and address issues related to code of conduct, integrity, ethics, or financial/reputational risk promptly.
Required Skills :
1. Strong time management, priorities management, and team management skills.
2. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Strong understanding of P&L, revenue generation, and business models.
4. Strong business acumen.
5. 8-10 years of experience in sports portfolio management and social media presence.
6. MBA in Sports or a related field.
