Lead - Public Relations & Communication - EdTech (8-12 yrs)
Hiring for a leading EdTech at Western Suburbs, Mumbai. Immediate joiners preferred.
- The PR lead will be responsible for leading outward PR strategies and plans that promote key initiatives and promote the business/product's image and reputation.
- He/She will also play the role of broadening awareness of these strategies and increase visibility of PR programs and priorities within the organization and to key stakeholders.
- It is a highly interactive one; the PR lead is business's primary representative to media outlets, external partners, and business stakeholders.
- He/ She will be required to collaborate internally with all departments across the organization in the performance of his functions.
Responsibilities will include:
- Maximizing brand presence on various traditional-new age/ online-offline mediums
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with media and influential professionals in the EdTech category.
- Arrange interviews and press releases to promote our company, brand and the learning programmes we offer.
- Overseeing the daily operations of the PR team incl the agency.
- Tracking campaign success and media coverage.
- Presenting reports on the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Ensuring brand consistency in all marketing content.
- Addressing negative press or PR crises if they occur.
Requirements :
- Proven work experience as a PR lead or similar role
- Experience with traditional and digital media, especially those covering education/EdTech, Start-ups etc
- Someone who understands Tech/ startup ecosystem well from both B2C and B2B perspective
- Existing relationships with top tier reporters and editors in India.
- Solid experience coordinating successful PR campaigns
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Creative abilities and Expert knowledge of social media, online marketing, and internet culture.
- Team management skills
- Ability to foster long-term relationships with key professionals
- Commercial awareness
- Degree in marketing, communications, journalism or relevant field.
