Position Overview :

- The goal is to increase sales and profitability of business to drive sustainable growth while focusing on marketing led activities. Building consumer focused marketing campaigns based on business needs and measuring the effectiveness of the campaigns.

Functional Competencies :

- Solid knowledge of category management, marketing, and sales principles

- Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods

- Proficient in MS Office

- An analytical mind with a strategic ability

Key Result Areas :

- Excellence in consumer insights, analytics, segmentation and market research to meet business objectives and determine industry & consumer trends

- Devise long-term development strategies for product categories

- Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility

- Determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category

- Design and develop marketing communication tools and ensuring timely availability

- Development of new product planning by partnering with relevant teams

- Development of annual marketing budget and managing revenue for category

- Foster relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services

Professional Qualification :

- MBA from Tier-I or Tier-II or B-Schools with specialization in Marketing or Business Administration.

Minimum Experience :

- 4-5 years of professional experience in marketing, FMCG or within a demanding corporate environment

- Extensive experience in understanding consumer needs and the retail environment.

- A commercial mindset and full comprehension of marketing and sales principles.
