Lead/Manager - Content Operations (4-9 yrs)
Key Responsibilities :
Content Creation & Curation :
- Develop daily content, including questions, answers, clues, and solutions for various word games including but not limited to crosswords, quizzes, word puzzles for the Hindi market etc.
- Ensure content quality and alignment with our editorial standards, with engaging, challenging, and relevant content.
- Design content to cater to a wide audience, balancing ease for new, casual users and depth for seasoned, power users. Be able to put themselves into the shoes of different personas and audiences.
Integration with News Events
- Regularly update game content to reflect current events, making games feel timely and relevant.
- Collaborate with the news team to source themes and topics to weave newsworthy elements into the game experience.
- Create content that not only entertains but also educates users about recent events, enhancing their connection to the news.
Content Management & Scheduling
- Oversee the daily rollout of content across all games, ensuring consistent timing and quality in releases.
- Maintain a content calendar for daily, weekly, and monthly content needs with a buffer content library planned ahead and be ready for dynamic adjustments based on requirements..
Data & User Research Driven Improvements
- Use primary user research & analytics to understand user preferences, track content performance, and pinpoint improvement opportunities.
- Continuously refine content in each game based on user feedback and engagement data to optimize metrics linked to retention, engagement & shareability.
Team Collaboration & Leadership :
- Work closely with game designers, product managers, content writers, and editorial teams to align game content with company objectives.
- Lead and mentor a small team of content creators, ensuring adherence to guidelines and fostering best practices in the future as we scale up.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience : 4-5+ years in content creation or editorial roles within the news, gaming, or media industry.
Hindi Proficiency : Strong ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in Hindi, ensuring culturally relevant content for Hindi-speaking audiences. Additionally - knowing Gujarati too is a big plus.
User Focused : Keen to interact with / take feedback from users to keep improving the content in our games.
Data / Analytical Mindset : Proficiency with data and analytics tools to drive content insights and improvements.
Passion for Puzzles & Games : Avid interest in brain games and puzzles, with an enthusiasm for being a user of the games they create.
Understanding of News : Active news reader with a strong grasp of current events and the ability to relate content to real-world happenings.
