Lead Generation/Business Development Role - IT (5-8 yrs)
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Freelance Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in identifying, targeting, and securing new clients within the IT industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, particularly within the IT sector, and will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our client base.
Key Responsibilities :
Client Acquisition :
- Identify and target potential clients in the IT sector through various channels including networking, cold calling, and online research.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to attract new clients.
- Generate leads, set up meetings, and present our IT services and solutions to potential clients.
Market Research :
- Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs.
- Identify opportunities for growth and development within the IT market.
Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Act as a point of contact for new clients and ensure a smooth transition to the account management team.
Proposal Development :
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
Sales Reporting :
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market feedback.
Networking :
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential clients and industry professionals.
- Leverage existing networks to identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Business Development Executive, Sales Executive, or a similar role in the IT industry.
- Strong understanding of IT services, solutions, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.
