Roles and Responsibilities (Along with Skills Required) :
- Lead Generation : Identify and prospect potential customers through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and online research.
- Sales Pipeline Management : Build and manage a sales pipeline by tracking and following up on leads, conducting product demonstrations, and nurturing relationships with prospects.
- Customer Engagement : Engage with customers to understand their needs, provide product information, address inquiries, and offer solutions that align with their requirements.
- Sales Presentations : Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to potential customers, highlighting the features and benefits of products or services.
- Sales Negotiation : Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to secure sales and achieve revenue targets. Handle objections, address concerns, and find win-win solutions.
- Relationship Building : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction, up sell or cross-sell opportunities, and generate repeat business.
- Sales Reporting : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and deals in the CRM system. Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.
- Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, and customer support to align strategies, share market insights, and address customer needs effectively.
- Market Research : Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Continuous Learning : Stay updated on product knowledge, industry advancements, and sales techniques. Attend training programs, workshops, and conferences, Expo's to enhance skills and knowledge.
Preferred candidate profile :
- Excellent Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effectively engaging with customers, conducting sales presentations, and building relationships.
- Sales Experience : Previous experience in sales or a related role is often preferred. This could include inside sales, tele sales, business development, or customer service with a sales focus.
- Product Knowledge : A good understanding of the products or services being sold is important for effectively presenting and explaining their features, benefits, and value propositions to customers.
