We are currently retained by a leading education player in the country to hire a Lead- Editor (Content) responsible for handling the Edit/Quality assurance team and assure the release of error-free content.

We are looking for a copy editor with strong experience of digital content. Are you looking for creative opportunities to lead content / curriculum editing and are excited by the idea of working with an education startup that is growing in an exponential manner then only please apply to us.

Responsibilities :

1. Lead the Quality team for content editing

2. Review the work of editors/ creators.

3. Put in best practices from style guide to edit standards

4. Assure the reliability and consistency of work by checking processes and final output

5. Monitor all operations that affect the quality

6. Point out conceptual errors and work with the Curriculum Team to correct them

To fit the bill :

- You must be a Graduate from a Tier 1 college, preferably in English or Journalism or Mass Communication

- Have at least 8-10 years of experience in print AND digital publishing

- Have experience in handling a team of proof-readers, content writers and quality assurance in publishing

Please Note any background in school education would be preferable.
