Lead - Business Development - NBFC (9-15 yrs)

Job Description:

Title: Lead business development - NBFC - Banking

Experience: 10 to 15years

Location: Delhi / Pune

Role And Responsibilities:

1. Door Opening & Outreach

- Identify potential Insurer and MFI partners and initiate contact.

- Conduct research to understand market trends and prospects' needs.

- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to create opportunities for partnership.

- Schedule and manage meetings and introductions between prospects and internal teams.

2. Proposal Management

- Draft and send initial proposals tailored to prospects' needs.

- Follow up with prospects to ensure proposals are received and answer any queries.

- Maintain an organized database of all proposals sent and responses received.

3. Conducting Initial Meetings

- Schedule, prepare for, and lead initial meetings with prospects.

- Present the company's offerings and value propositions effectively.

- Gather relevant insights from prospects to refine future proposals.

- Keep accurate records of meeting notes and outcomes for follow-up.

4. Proposal Progression & Collaboration

- Work closely with Sr. Vice President - Business Development and the Business Head to elevate proposals to the next level.

- Ensure alignment between internal teams and stakeholders on key aspects of proposals.

- Act as the liaison to ensure that proposals progress smoothly and effectively.

- Track and report on the status of proposals and meetings.

Key Requirements:

- Experience: 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the insurance or MFI sectors.

Skills:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to engage with senior-level stakeholders and present proposals.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Knowledge of insurance and MFI industry trends is a plus.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Other: Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
