What this job involves:
- The Business Development Lead (Manager / Sr. Manager) will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to expand Savills client base and increase revenue for the Data Centre business through Co-location leasing / cloud services and identifying land acquisition opportunities for Data Center (DC) service providers across India. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients and Data Center service providers and providing exceptional customer service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with DC service providers and occupiers by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
- Identify potential occupiers/clients through research, networking, and other means, and develop targeted strategies to approach them for Colo leasing / cloud services and identifying land acquisition opportunities.
- Build and maintain database of existing and under construction data centre players across India and vacancy data
- Ability to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate data center solutions. This may involve conducting needs assessments, proposing customized solutions, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure alignment with client requirements.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations to clients, highlighting the benefits and value propositions of the company's data center products and services.
- Negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to secure new business. Sales representatives should be skilled in overcoming objections and closing deals effectively.
- Play a pivotal role in adding new clients to Savills portfolio across geographies.
- Participate in exhibitions, marketing campaigns and several other sales origination activities to create an effective brand presence, sales closures and networking
- Representing the organization in different forums, as and when necessary
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities, including sales pipeline, client relationships, and revenue growth
To apply Must have:
- Experience in sales to "Data centre business providers" for "Co-location leasing" / Cloud services
- Excellent Communication Skills along; Body Language written & verbal
- Basic knowledge of real estate land acquisition would be an added advantage

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Identify and understand client needs clearly
- Articulate communication skills are a must
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability and willingness to engage well at all stages of sales process
