Lead - Business Development - Cosmetics (5-7 yrs)
Key Responsibilities :
Sales & Business Development :
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the personal care and cosmetics industry.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase sales revenue and expand market share.
- Act as the primary point of contact for potential clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored contract manufacturing solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to refine sales strategies.
Pipeline & Opportunity Management :
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and project kick-off.
- Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline, tracking all leads, opportunities, and client interactions using the internal CRM system.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless handoffs from sales to project execution.
Client Relations & Project Management :
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Gather and document client briefs, preferences, and specifications to ensure alignment with internal manufacturing capabilities.
- Partner with internal teams (e.g., R&D, production, operations) to ensure projects are executed to client satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot and address any client concerns or issues that may arise during the production process.
Reporting & Performance Metrics :
- Track and analyze sales performance, providing regular updates to leadership on revenue, pipeline status, and key business opportunities.
- Set and achieve sales targets and KPIs in alignment with company growth objectives.
