We are looking for Government Ad Sale Lead- South- for leading News Mobile App

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Government Ad Sales Lead - South

Brief of the role: Getting tourism/ other govt spaces to advertise on our app.

LOCATION: Bangalore

POSITION: Full-time

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop new sales relationships for client for Government in South

- Work closely with the State government/Tourism/PSU- s

- Get the empanelment done with the individual state PRD

- Deliver agreed revenue targets

- Be the Client advocate for the government

- Be the government advocate for Client

- Work closely with the agency and the government lead's to ensure the plan submitted gets fruitful

- As the sales team scales, hire/mentor the team to ensure the target is delivered

- Participate in quarterly/annual planning exercise with agency/client to identify growth of digital revenues

- To ensure detailed and accurate records are maintained

- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures

PROFILE:

- Overall 5+/8+ years of experience in digital media sales with demonstrable experience in working with agencies and clients in Government sector etc. is a must.

- Significant experience in selling digital media such as search; social or programmatic display would be an added advantage

- Understanding of key drivers of digital media with working understanding of issues like attribution and tools like ad servers will be a significant plus.

- Must be able to speak a south Indian language and be based in South India

- Good oral, interpersonal and presentation skills, high energy
