Job Brief:
We are looking for a talented and competitive Business Development Manager thrives in a quick sales cycle environment.
As a BDM you will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making effective and impactful calls to our target segment, working closely with the management and generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.
Responsibilities:
- Extensive researching on the target accounts in the BFSI & Education segment.
- Should be well conversant and active on professional social networking platform
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls and emails.
- Understanding of the IT Services offerings to the target segment and quick understand and learn EPIK offerings to these segments.
- Good skills in MS office Word & PPT
- Research accounts, identify key players and create interest
- Provide effective online demo's to prospects.
- Routing qualified opportunities to the sales team for further development and closure
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a business development management and inside sales or a relevant role
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team
- Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets
- Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- MBA degree or equivalent with 2 to 5 years- experience in similar role
- Travel involved across India and South East Asia.
