Lagata - Manager - Sales - FMCG Segment (2-5 yrs)
MBA Sales Manager :
- We are looking to expand our Sales function within one of our FMCG businesses in Nigeria, and have a fantastic opening for a driven and motivated MBA graduate who possesses 1-2 years commercial experience, to join us a Sales Manager, with a structured training scheme to develop you into an outstanding B2B Sales Manager.
- You will have the opportunity to be mentored by senior commercial leaders, being trained in in-country market knowledge, the full sales lifecycle from prospect identification to deal closure, and working with senior colleagues to ensure the business is thriving.
Responsibilities :
- To establish sales opportunities through networking, building relationships, conducting outdoor activities
- Carrying out market and areas mapping, cold calling, and sales prospecting
- Support senior sales leaders in identifying new business accounts and winning new logo business
- Build corporate database and be responsible for lead generation and collaborate with senior leaders on deal closures with necessary documentation
- Identify potential opportunities to accelerate business volume
- Develop and implement strategies for achieving sales goals
- Prepare periodic sales reports for senior colleagues and managers
- Should be able to forecast sales in terms of numbers and revenue
- Achieve sales targets through acquisition of new clients and growing business from existing clients, listening to guidance and targets from senior colleagues and management
- Identify improvements and new opportunities by remaining updated with on industry trends, competitor activities and their offerings
Qualifications & Education :
- MBA in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, or similar relevant discipline from reputed universities
- 2 years experience in a graduate sales role, preferably within a manufacturing or FMCG focused business
- Skilled in preparing and maintaining sales management documents and reports
- Hungry, driven, motivated and energetic character with a willingness to learn from senior colleagues and professionals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confidence carrying out prospecting activities on a telephony basis and giving in-person presentations skills
- Demonstrable skills managing prospects and clients, nurturing potential and existing relationships
- Proficiency in MS Office & CRM tools
