LABCON - Technical Sales Executive (4-6 yrs)
Labcon Scientific Instruments is a multi-product technical marketing company specialising in sourcing, defining, selling, installing and maintaining several state-of-art equipments for Chemical, Petrochemical and Refinery areas in all regions of India. The company represents world leaders in the above areas. Labcon was started in 1990 by a team of entrepreneurs with considerable experience in technical sales and organizational aspects of installation and customer services.
We are looking for an enthusiastic technical sales executive to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be required to source new customers and business contacts, demonstrate the technical features of our products, drive sales, and maintain strong customer relations.
To ensure success as a technical sales executive, you should have strong knowledge of technical and scientific products, a passion for sales, and the ability to travel. Ultimately, a top-class technical sales executive drives business by understanding the needs of the client and providing them with the right product choices.
Job Responsibilities & Duties:
- Sourcing potential new customers and business contacts.
- Maintaining regular/strong contact with existing customers.
- Travelling to the customer's location for technical discussions.
- Demonstrating the technical features and benefits of the equipment to the customers.
- Assisting in composing tender documents and customer proposals.
- Advising customers on technology upgrades and related products.
- Building a strong dealer network.
- Generating purchase orders and sales receipts.
- Attending product training courses and seminars and participating in exhibitions.
Technical Sales Executive Requirements:
- Previous experience as a sales executive in the sales and marketing of laboratory equipment for the oil sector and related research labs.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment for quality control & research is mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Professional and friendly demeanour.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and Office Software.
- Willingness to undertake travels in the alloted region.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Previous experience in the sales and marketing of Laboratory equipments for the Oil sector and related research labs
- Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics will be preferred, but not mandatory
- The job involves extensive travelling in the allotted area.
- Take a proactive approach to work without close supervision
