Job Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement channel sales strategies to increase market share and profitability on a sustainable basis in line with the Company's Annual Business Plan.
- Design, implement, and manage channel sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes. Establish high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting approaches.
- Take complete ownership of P&L for the Channel Sales Function.
Drive channel sales of the organization by ;
- Assigning sales targets both quantity wise and amount wise.
- Supporting staff for achievement of sales targets.
- Achieving budgetary goals for revenue & cost.
- Ensuring on time collection of sales from customers.
- Identifying opportunities of sales process improvement and ensuring their implementation.
- Ensuring optimal deployment of channel sales personnel's and optimal sales force ROI.
- Evaluating distribution channel partner's performance and doing corrections if required.
- Developing local marketing strategies to build consumer preference and drive volumes of business.
Work closely with senior management Top Management and Human Resources Function to :
- Define the optimal performance measurements and performance management programs required to ensure sales force success.
- Establish a channel sales force training plan focused on developing and reinforcing critical sales competencies.
- Design channel sales incentive compensation programs that provide market-competitive pay, reinforce sales function strategy, and is aligned with business objectives.
- Give directions for changing sales roles, coverage models, or team configurations in order to maximize channel sales productivity.
Develop reporting tools and mechanism to ;
- Ensure on time and accurate reporting of sales by sales force.
- Ensure fair & accurate reporting to Top Management.
Experience / Competencies :
- Head of Channel Sales function.
- Experience of 12-20 years.
- Possesses professional qualification or distinct technical or functional expertise.
- Well aware about business deliverables.
- Effective leader and communicator.
- Well versed in system & business process development & implementation.
