- As a key member of the business development team, the selected candidate shall be engaged in client interactions including making presentations to clients.
- The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with prospective partners to build new business for the company.
-This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Responsibilities :
- Identifying new sales leads
- Pitching products and/or services
- Researching organizations (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
- Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
- Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company's products
- Developing quotes and proposals
- Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
- Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met
- Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills
Qualifications :
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing/Sales filed
- 1 - 2 years' prior industry related business development experience
- Commerce background will be added advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
