KS Smart Solutions - Associate - Business Development (2-5 yrs)
Job Description:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and market segments in the IoT/ICT sector(Information and Communication Technology) , predominantly in the public sector for business expansion.
- Proactively generate new leads through various channels such as referrals, pre-existing contacts, networking, email campaigns etc.
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their requirements and pain points.
- Present the company's software and hardware solutions to clients, showcasing their value and benefits.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements.
- Collaborate with the technical team to develop tailored proposals and solutions for clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and product development to align strategies and deliver effective solutions.
- Conduct regular meetings, presentations, and reviews with clients to ensure client satisfaction and identify up selling or cross-selling opportunities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and escalations until the award of project
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to management.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in the software and hardware sectors.
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Development Associate or similar role in the software and hardware technologies sector.
- Strong understanding of software and hardware technologies, industry trends, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence clients.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the government sector is a bonus.
