Job Description
- Create new content, rewrite the existing content or edit and proofread content as per need of organization.
- Responsible for managing content on social media and develop unique ideas for web content.
- Having a clear understanding of the objectives of the organization and target audience.
- Develop simple, easy-to-understand, user friendly content while employing good search engine optimization (SEO) techniques. Before publishing the articles on the web edit/proof read content.
- The content should be informative and engaging and should enable the visitors to get their information promptly and efficiently.
Job Responsibilities:
- Creating and writing blogs for studies abroad.
- Supporting the IT Team with quality content for company website.
- Supporting the IT Team with 1 study abroad quote per day.
- Supporting the IT Team with Descriptions for various platforms like YouTube, SlideShare etc.
- Proof reading for contents made by team members for various purposes.
- Giving contents for Press Release.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in developing web related marketing content.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, good listening skills, multi-tasking skills, ability to work both independently and with a team
- Experience in writing for the Web, content management and internet research.
- Proven experience in marketing writing.
- Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices.
- An understanding of formatting articles on the Web.
- Fairly good knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Macromedia flash, MS- FrontPage etc. would be of benefit.
- Takes initiative, creative, thorough and target oriented
- High comprehension of software like Microsoft Word and Google Docs
