Responsibilities-
- Identify potential clients, maintain order databases, and update prospect list, by assisting the sales team providing essential support for effective sales operations
- Responding to vendor inquiries, scheduling meetings and sales appointments, and following up with vendors.
- Compiling a daily list of sales leads, delegating leads to the sales department, and providing sales data and guides to the sales department.
- Work closely with marketing, product, credit risk and operations team
- Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant problems
- Providing intelligent data or reports to the sales team basis the market research or market trends.
- Maintaining MIS for sales figures, metrics, and other relevant information and maintaining an organized and accessible filing system.
- Developing and monitoring performance indicators for sales and managing sales tracking tools, and compiling reports
- Timely submission of the reports to government and RBI.
- Liaise with account managers to develop specific sales strategies
- Stay up-to-date with new product and feature launches and ensure sales team is on board
- Review pending orders and specific customers' requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience
- Suggest sales process improvements
Skills & Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Sales support specialist or Sales support associate
- Hands on experience with ERP and CRM systems
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
- In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and multitasking skills
- Teamwork and motivational skills
- BS degree in Marketing or associates degree in relevant field a plus
