Kolo - Category Growth Manager (2-15 yrs)

Kolo is seeking a motivated and experienced Category Manager to join our team.

We are looking for someone to shape the category organization as one of the early members. This will be a high-impact role working closely with founders.

Looking for folks with Tier 1 or equivalent experience either in their education or in their previous experience

As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive growth and enhance the user experience within specific categories on our platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to curate, optimise, and expand the offerings within your assigned categories. Your insights and efforts will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of Kolo.

Responsibilities:

- Develop a comprehensive category strategy that aligns with the overall business goals and user needs.

- Create a deep understanding of the user problem and continuously enhance the user experience within your categories.

- Curate and manage the product assortment within your assigned categories.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customer and product, service brands/sellers.

- Utilise data-driven insights to make informed decisions.

- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, sales and operations teams to execute category initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- 2-4 years of experience in category management or related roles .

- Have previously managed P&L in a category.

- Proven track record of developing and executing successful category strategies that drive growth and profitability.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

- Previous experience in the home renovation industry is a plus

- Not a remote opportunity (can be temperorarly remote) Should report to office- Bangalore /Cochin
