KlaasX - Channel Partner - Sales (1-2 yrs)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel accessing their own database.
- Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives.
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives accessing their own database.
Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
- Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
- Leads solution development efforts that best address end user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Initiating phone conversations with education institutes which includes Colleges, Institutes (B2B2C Product).
- Exploring innovative outreach methods to get in touch with relevant decision-makers.
- Generating qualified business opportunities by creating a high level of interest in our prospects about what's possible for them if they were to use our product/services.
- Setting up and taking demos and meetings to present our product/service.
- Nurturing the prospects post demos/meetings to have them do business with us i.e. closing deals. Intensely engaging and following up with the prospects and closing the sales within the sales cycle through diligent communication and priming the lead through various channels such as email, SMS, WhatsApp, calls etc.
- Maintain sales records in our sales systems right from lead generation to closure and keeping track of factors like conversion factor, Average revenue generated per lead, average revenue per sale, etc.
- Monitoring self-performance at all times while also contributing to the team performance.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES :
- Achieves assigned sales quota in designated partner accounts.
- Meets assigned expectations for profitability.
- Completes partner account plans that meet company standards.
- Maintains high partner satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
- Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.
ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT :
- Reports to the Co-founder & Director.
- Closely coordinates company executive involvement with partner and end-user customer management as appropriate.
- Works closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
- This position may have direct report staff assigned to support responsibilities within specific partner accounts.
Must Haves / Skills / Abilities :
- Result-driven professional with a track record of consistently hitting targets.
- Sold to education institutes which include Colleges & Institutions with student volume in excess of 600 and above.
- Sold courses to students of colleges and working professionals with ticket size of 1 Lac and above.
- High grasping ability so that you can learn about the product within 5-7 days.
- A basic understanding of the Ed Tech sector and how it has grown pre-covid and post-covid.
