Description :

- We are looking for a driven self-starter to join Kidadl as a Brief Writer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating SEO content briefs for articles, events or category content. 

- You'll follow a strict process to ensure content briefs are created using suitable keywords. 

- You'll outline the content structure including headings, subheadings, and recommend internal links as well as providing important questions for the writers to answer. 

- You'll be comfortable working with keywords and understand what keyword intent means.

- This is a target-driven role suitable for a candidate with strong attention to detail and accuracy who is keen to develop experience in digital content production and SEO.

Duties and responsibilities :

- Report to Brief Team Coordinator

- Attend daily team stand-ups

- Attend training sessions as required

- Review and understand content brief guidelines and templates

- Check keywords are suitable prior to brief creation

- Complete your daily target of briefs to a high standard

- Ensure all steps are completed correctly for each brief

- Ensure the correct status has been marked throughout the workflow

- Make timely corrections to briefs as requested (no later than the day after)

- Report any issues to the brief checkers or brief team coordinator

- Update the targets sheet at the end of each day

Requirements :

- Fluent in spoken and written English

- Excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to a defined process

- Experience copywriting or editing

- Experience writing content briefs for digital content or print

- Experience in SEO for content optimisation

- Keyword research skills

- Experience with SEO tools

- Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel)
