About you :

We are looking for a driven self-starter to join Kidadl as a Content Writer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working alongside the content and SEO teams on a daily basis, writing quality output for kidadl.com. We are looking for someone able to research and write interesting and engaging articles. This is a fast-paced role suited to candidates who love research and writing and are able to work to a target whilst delivering high-quality articles.

Duties and responsibilities :

- Your main aim is to research and write each article to align with our SEO, style, and tone of voice requirements.

- Researching the articles using a range of reputable sources.

- Writing factually accurate articles.

- Writing articles that are completely unique and original.

- Writing articles that meet SEO requirements.

- Researching suitable images for each article meets our requirements.

- Writing the articles in line with Kidadls tone of voice and style requirements.

- Responding promptly to feedback from fact-checkers and approvers.

- Attending and contributing to daily meetings.

Skills and qualifications :

- Strong writing and research skills.

- A keen eye for detail.

- The ability to work to a target.

- The ability to communicate effectively with fact-checkers and approvers.

- Experience in content writing.

- Experience working with Google Drive, particularly Google Sheets.

Targets :

- Write factually accurate articles to a high standard.

- Meet SEO requirements in all articles.

- Respond promptly to any feedback from fact-checkers and approvers.

- Meet a daily target in terms of the number of words submitted.
