Keya Foods - Area Sales Manager - General Trade (6-9 yrs)
ROLE OBJECTIVE - Drive the business objectives and market expansion of the Keya brand/consumer business through the general trade clients channels
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Financial Responsibility :
- Responsible for top line & bottom line for the General Trade Outlets - Coverage Reach & Network Enhancement Customer Responsibility (Internal and External) :
- Manage the category performance of all the major General Trade customers/outlets & develop account-specific strategies to drive the channel growth.
- Supervising trade listing of existing and new products, evaluating the financials (costing, branding, margins etc.) and negotiating long-term deals, and finalizing the TOT's in accordance (Distributors)
- Ensure right appointment of Distributors which is in alignment with the business plan
- Track weekly & monthly sales performance against plan and proactively identify solutions to close performance gaps.
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitive products, competitive prices and related terms and conditions of sale and offer to prepare own Sale offers.
- Providing guidance to and motivating the team to establish coverage, distribution and display objectives, negotiating optimum rates for the promotions, to meet sales targets.
- Identify good customers and potential channel partners through market visits, and report analysis, for deeper market penetration and reach.
- Conceptualize innovative distribution model for sales offtake - tapping various purchase & consumption points
- Monitor and supervise all Advertising & Promotions activities, ensuring alignment with budgets
People Responsibility :
- Provide strong leadership to the team including developing and monitoring individual and team performance goals.
- Ensure retention of key /identified talent in the team
Process Improvement :
- Design procedures, service standards and operational policies as effective control measures to govern the various Sales activities
- Tracks & Ensures Sales Team Working Efficiency - Field Force Efficiency is 100% all time every time as per Sales Norms - Ensure adherence to Bizom and application and usage of Bizom as a performance tool
- Commercial Efficiency - Ensures all the financial compliances are adhered to :
- Timely Collection of C-Forms.
- Timely submission of distributor Trade claims
- Collection efficiency
