Key Accounts Manager - Sales (10-12 yrs)
The Key Account Manager will be focused on managing relationships with clients and industry partners based in Mumbai. This role is key to helping broaden and grow its customer facing and account management capacity.
Working alongside the customer, Business Development, product, technology and data teams you will be responsible for:
- Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they are extremely satisfied and we have 100% client retention, and grow our business with them
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
- Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers promptly and deal with complaints to maintain trust
- Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
- Support Business Development activities and work closely with Business Development team
- Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
- Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning to implement operational changes and execute
- Negotiate and close client contracts
- Develop a thorough understanding of the lender businesses, products or services and be able to advise other stakeholders about them
- Ensure other functions are on board throughout the organization, and understand the need for change and what is required of them
- Train members of your team, arranging external training where appropriate
- Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
- Seek ways of improving the way the business operates
- Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate to create visibility for the organization
- Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
