Key Account Manager - Sales - Polymer (5-7 yrs)
Job Responsibilities :
Key Account Management : Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the polymer industry. Serve as the primary point of contact for these accounts and understand their specific needs, requirements, and expectations.
Sales and Revenue Generation : Achieve sales targets and revenue goals by effectively promoting and selling polymer products to key accounts. Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within assigned accounts and work towards maximizing sales and profitability.
Market Analysis and Business Development : Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive dynamics. Develop strategies for expanding the company's client base, entering new markets, and seizing growth opportunities.
Customer Relationship Development : Foster long-term partnerships with key accounts through regular communication, meetings, and visits. Understand their business objectives and align the company's products and services to meet their needs. Proactively address any concerns or issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Contract Negotiation and Management : Lead contract negotiations with key accounts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties. Manage contracts, track delivery schedules, and ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms. Monitor and resolve any disputes or issues related to contracts.
Market and Competitive Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitive activities in the polymer trading sector. Analyze competitors' pricing, product offerings, and market strategies to maintain a competitive edge and identify areas for differentiation.
Pricing and Profitability Management : Determine appropriate pricing strategies for polymer products based on market conditions, customer demands, and profitability targets. Monitor and manage pricing agreements, discounts, and rebates to optimize revenue and margins.
Collaborative Teamwork : Work closely with internal teams such as procurement, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth order processing, timely delivery, and accurate invoicing. Collaborate with colleagues to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and enhance the overall customer experience.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting : Prepare sales forecasts, track performance against targets, and provide regular reports to management on key account activities, market trends, and sales performance. Utilize CRM tools or other systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information and sales data.
Industry Networking and Relationship Building : Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand professional networks, identify potential leads, and stay connected with industry trends. Participate in relevant industry associations or forums to enhance the company's visibility and reputation within the polymer trading sector.
Key Requirements :

- Experience with polymer producers
- Proven experience as key account manager
- Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
