Key Account Manager - Sales - MSME Sector - Bank (5-7 yrs)
The Key Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) clients. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities, develop account plans, and drive revenue growth while providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting :
- Research and identify potential clients in the MSME market.
- Develop a deep understanding of potential clients' business needs and challenges.
- Develop compelling sales pitches and presentations to attract new clients.
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the company's offerings.
Negotiation and Closing:
- Negotiate terms and close deals with new clients.
- Ensure all legal and financial aspects of the deal are addressed efficiently.
Account Growth:
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing client portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver solutions that meet client needs.
- Develop account plans and strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key MSME clients in Bangalore.
- Understand clients' business needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly.
Market Research and Analysis :
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
- Conduct research to identify potential MSME clients and assess their suitability for partnership.
Customer Support :
- Ensure clients receive exceptional service and support throughout their engagement.
- Resolve client issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
Reporting and Forecasting:
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
- Prepare regular reports on account performance and revenue projections.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure client success.
- Share client feedback and insights with internal teams to drive product and service improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proficient in English and Kannada.
- 5 -7 years Proven experience in key account management
- In-depth knowledge of the MSME sector, including its challenges and opportunities.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
