Key Account Manager - Sales - IT Product (6-8 yrs)
Job Title : Key Account Manager - Products
Location : Malad, Mumbai (Monday-Friday Work from office)
Job Summary :
- As a B2B Key Account Manager for Products division, you will be responsible for managing key client accounts, fostering strong relationships, and driving revenue growth through the upselling (existing/newly developed/ideating) of our product features. You will serve as the primary point of contact for designated clients, understanding their needs, providing relevant market research gatherings to tailor make additions to the product implementation at those clients.
- This role requires a deep understanding of the HRMS landscape, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively position offerings and maximize value for clients.
Responsibilities :
1. Client Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients.
- Act as the main point of contact for new requirements, escalations, and issue resolution.
- Understand client needs and objectives, and proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell new features in the product.
2. Strategic Account Planning :
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
- Conduct regular account reviews to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure alignment with client goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development / delivery, to address client needs and drive growth.
3. Product Expertise :
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services, as well as their value proposition and competitive advantages.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings to effectively position products and differentiate from competitors.
- Educate clients on product features, benefits, and best practices to drive usage and adoption.
4. Revenue Generation :
- Drive revenue growth through proactive cross-sale and upsell activities, including prospecting, qualification, and proposal development.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements to maximize profitability while meeting client needs and expectations.
5. Customer Advocacy :
- Serve as a customer advocate within the organization, representing client interests and ensuring their voice is heard in product development and service enhancements.
- Gather feedback from clients regarding product satisfaction, usability, and performance, and communicate insights to relevant stakeholders.
- Additional skill/goes under some title that also suggest any uptrending feature that can go under core product development roadmap that can be used across other client implementations
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree plus).
- Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, preferably in a technology or software industry. HRIT experience a major plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients at all levels of an organization.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to address client needs.
- Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and driving client satisfaction.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events or conferences
