Key Account Manager - Sales - Healthcre (6-8 yrs)
Job Summary
As Key Accounts Manager, you will work closely with the content management department, reporting to the Head - Medical content, and be responsible for building and retaining positive relationships with the company's key accounts and medical influencers.
To achieve this core objective, you will be expected to perform the following key activities:
Key Responsibilities
- Co-create the key account management strategies along with the medical content department
- Understand content posting preferences such as specialty and sub-specialty, and post format for the assigned key accounts/influencers
- Plan and customize campaigns basis the agreed strategy and relationship with the medical influencers and iterate basis platform response
- Liaison with the in-house content team and external content agencies to build and post relevant content formats for the key accounts
- Regularly track traffic on the platform to make necessary interventions to drive engagement
- Act as SPOC for all key account-related activities and help fast-track complaint resolution
- Physically meet medical influencers regularly to enhance relationships & build on the influencer strategies discussed internally
Pre-requisites
- Basic understanding of the healthcare and pharma sector. Exposure to the digital content landscape is a must.
- Ability to interact fluently with doctors and be willing to travel in the field.
- Excellent interpersonal, active listening, and influencing skills; establish and maintain professional and productive working relationships with influencers.
- Customer-oriented mindset and ability to understand customer requirements with the ability to translate business needs into product solutions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, multi-task, and work effectively under pressure; adapt to change as needed; possess excellent project and time management skills; be attentive to details.
- Ability to communicate with teams to set realistic timeline expectations; demonstrated ability to deliver within agreed internal and regulatory timelines; monitor and communicate progress against milestones; escalate complex issues appropriately.
Qualifications and Work Experience
- At minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a medical-related field or life science. Post-graduate degree preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience as a field representative of any pharma/healthcare organization, or client servicing experience in a healthcare communications agency.
