- Our client is a leading company in the food and beverage industry, specializing in agricultural products. They are currently seeking a Key Account Manager with 2 to 4 years of experience in the HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, and Caf) sector to join their team. This role will be based in one of the following locations: Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Vellore, or Trichy.
The Job
Your responsibilities will include :
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key HORECA customers, including hotels, restaurants, and cafes, to drive sales and meet revenue targets.
- Identifying new business opportunities and generate leads within the HORECA sector to expand our customer base and increase market share.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for key accounts, understanding their needs, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Developing and executing sales strategies, negotiate pricing and contracts, and close deals with key HORECA customers.
- Staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics in the HORECA sector to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Deep understanding of our agricultural products and their applications in the HORECA sector to effectively communicate product benefits and drive sales.
- Preparing regular sales reports, analyze performance data, and provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, supply chain, and operations to ensure seamless customer service and timely delivery of products.
- Travelling within the assigned territory to meet customers, attend industry events, and conduct market visits as required.
Ideal Candidate :
- You have minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role as a Key Account Manager or Business Development Manager in the HORECA industry.
- You have strong understanding of the HORECA sector, including its dynamics, trends, and key players.
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key accounts.
- You have proven track record in achieving sales targets, negotiating contracts, and closing deals in the HORECA industry.
- You are self-motivated and goal-oriented with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- You have ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive work environment.
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
