Key Account Manager - Sales - Education (2-5 yrs)

Roles and responsibilities :


- Build a strong business line towards significant revenue (prospecting & account management)


- Develop independent clientele & partnerships (while maintaining databases) with a large number of education entities within & outside India.


- Ability to build and implement effective sales processes, metrics & ensure adherence.


- Build, coach, and manage a team of up to 5 BD associates; ensure strong client service through collaboration with relevant cross functional teams.


- Ensure client engagement and continuous sales growth, by proactively seeking feedback, understanding pain points/requirements and articulating value that can be provided by CENTA.


- The role will involve extensive domestic as well as potentially international travel.


Skills/Experience needed :


- Experience of minimum 1 year (preferably 3 to 5 yrs) of core B2B BD/sales is mandatory.


- Experience in education companies (publishers, tech products, assessment, etc.) will be a plus. MBA preferred.


- Proven experience managing a team of sales associates will be an added advantage.


- Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with clients and partners with strong client service & high integrity at every step; good verbal and written communication.


- Navigate stakeholders at all levels of the client organization including C-level executives


- Drive, proactiveness, entrepreneurial orientation to take deals to closure and pursue growth.


- High comfort with common tech for work i.e. Google suite and MS Office suite.
