Key Account Manager - Sales (2-4 yrs)
Roles and responsibilities :
- Daily supervision and coordination of shipments with shippers and warehouses, as well as support for important clients' regular logistics needs.
- Establish and monitor project shipments throughout the entire duration, including billing.
- Help the planning department determine the most cost-effective ways to ship various items and equipment while keeping delivery specifications in mind.
- Analyze travel options and routes, bargain over expenses, and collaborate with the Operation Department.
- Examine rates and carriers, then gather information to create cost reports that you can provide to customers.
- Monitor each carrier's performance and provide management and carriers with comments.
- Responsible for selecting carriers based on the requirements of each client and negotiating carrier costs.
