Key Account Manager - IT Infrastructure (4-8 yrs)
Job Purpose/Position Summary :
To plan and carry out direct sales activities, build pipeline of customers & business opportunities so as to achieve the set revenue target. Constantly develop new business opportunities to cater to the business objective of the company. These are technology sales and the incumbent will be expected to develop technical knowledge and large account management skills. The organization is performance driven and good performance is disproportionately rewarded with fast-track careers.
Key performance indicators of this role are :
1) Achievement and exceeding of revenue target,
2) Quality of Sales,
3) Control and management of customer accounts,
4) Team spirit, demonstration of high integrity and values
Key Job Responsibilities :
1. Plan and carry out direct sales activities
2. Develop new accounts through various sales methodologies
3. Working with Pre-sales/Solution Architects in solutioning, bidding and closure of deals
4. Effective account mapping and penetration (customer IT infra intelligence & IT budget information, competition)
5. Structured reporting and CRM updates
6. Upgrade professional and technical knowledge by attending various trainings programs
7. Get a pulse of market trends & stay abreast to technology
8. Work with principle companies/OEMs & distributors for solutioning, sales support, pricing
Job Specific Skills:
1. Target driven approach
2. Assertiveness to interact with senior management layer of various customers
3. Ability to develop new customers starting from cold calls
4. Knowledge in IT Infrastructure Productions/Solutions is an added plus
