Key Account Manager - IT (9-15 yrs)
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to meet business objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential clients.
- Establish a sales pipeline by identifying and qualifying leads, building client networks, and closing deals.
Client Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners to understand their requirements and align them with company offerings.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them understand our product suite's value proposition in relation to their specific risk and compliance challenges.
Solution Design and Customization :
- Engage with clients to understand their technical and operational requirements, designing solutions tailored to their risk management needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, implementation, support) to ensure solutions are practical and feasible.
- Product and Market Knowledge :
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
- Communicate feedback from clients and market insights to the product and development teams to influence future product enhancements.
Proposal Development and Negotiation :
- Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and demos for prospective clients.
- Lead contract negotiations and ensure alignment with company policies and client needs.
Performance and Reporting :
- Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline health, and client feedback.
- Contribute to weekly or monthly sales forecasts, working with leadership to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Finance, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
Experience :
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in sales or solution design within the risk management, fintech, or banking software industry.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing relationships with financial institutions or Banks
Technical Skills :
- Understanding of risk management frameworks, compliance regulations, and financial industry standards.
- Familiarity with risk management software, credit scoring, EWS, or similar products is highly preferred.
Sales Skills :
- Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
