Key Account Manager - Electrical/Switchgear (5-10 yrs)
Business development:
- Responsible for the business development and achievement of sales & margin targets through assigned SI's & by adding new project SI's.
- Responsible for managing the set of consultants to support on project specifications & BOQ design etc. & generate project leads.
- Maintains & expands business relationships with assigned SI's by providing excellent support & experience with ADI.
- Work closely with vendors to get their mindshare & support on project opportunities, project registration with vendors for exclusive/elevated support.
- Implement sales strategy & monitor the progress, & ability to generate & execute large value business deals
- Ensure compliance to commercial & credit management, & business reporting and review processes of the organization.
- Work closely with national and regional leadership team to deploy strategy
Reporting & Systems
- Reports to Unit Manager - Projects
- Ensure periodic reporting on- Sales/ OB/ Funnel updates.
Collections
- Ensure timely collection of all outstanding receivables. Help in resolving all outstanding reconciliation issues on a periodic basis
Training & Support
- Ensure that technical competency is always maintained as per the set benchmarks.
- Ensure necessary technical training & BOQ support to customers.
- Align technical support to resolve issues related after-sales-support / warranty etc.
Market Intelligence and Analysis
- Continuously monitor developments in the market & competition activities, and ensure timely communication to Sales Leaders & respective product marketing manager.
