Key Account Manager - Education (5-10 yrs)
- Key Account Manager is responsible for the generation of business in the assigned accounts as well as the attainment of new accounts for the business
- Identify and evaluate of business opportunities by keeping an eye out for business best practices, trends, and principals that will enable the key account department to keep consumers satisfied
- Implement sales strategies that lead to high consumer satisfaction, hence, building awareness and credibility with the key clients along with the Regional Manager -Sales. Key Account Manager also takes part in the strategic account planning process in which departmental financial targets, performance objectives, account management standards, and critical milestones over specific periods of time are decided upon
- The Key Account Manager also plays an analytical role where he/she prepares detailed proposals/quotes depending on each consumer's requirements while addressing specific customization requirements as per business feasibility
- Suggest solutions that answer clients- needs and wants and ensure the ordered products are delivered in a timely manner
- Serve as contact point for key customers and internal teams and resolve customers' complaints in an effective and respectful way
- Gather, report and communicate customers' feedback on service, technology and product delivery
- Measure, track and analyze key account metrics and create key account health reports for management review
- The role is collaborative, with the Key Account Manager closely working with the product development, service delivery, finance, technology and customer support departments in an effort to meet account performance objectives as well as the key accounts- expectations through complimentary cross-functional efforts
- Increase organizational effectiveness and performance through innovating, solutioning and anticipating key account changes and improvements proactively
- Foster a culture that encourages and supports a contemporary and customer- centric culture within the organization
