- Sales with Application Engineering experience in automobile industry highly desirable for the role.
Job Description Title : Account Manager
Business Function / Job Family : Sales
Internal Contacts : Business Development, Marketing, Sales Team, Project-, Program- Management
External Contacts : Automotive OEM customers
Job Objective :
- Develop and implement a customer strategy for all customers in the western India Region.
- Customer Relationship Management to build up very good relations on all levels in order generate new business.
- Responsible for of all customer based activities as Acquisition, RFQ Process, Network improvement.
- Coordinating the Sales Team in order to fulfill the customer requirements as well as global requirements.
Education : Engineer + MBA (Sales or Marketing)
Job-Related Experience : Work Experience in Automotive Electronic products is mandatory.
Area of Responsibility :
Acquisition/Offer and Negotiation :
- Coordination of all Acquisitions in the southern Region. Coordinating and supporting the RFQ/offer process and negotiations.
- In order to generate new business and fulfill all customer requirements.
Customer Relationship Management :
- Built up and strengthen the relationship to all customers on all levels. Coordinate all Network activities across the globe.
- In order to - Generate new business and provide the customers with all product information within Company's product portfolio as well as to strengthen all acquisition activities.
Statistics and administration :
- Collection of customer and market data, preparation of statistics as well as updating price, spares and delivery data files etc.
In order to - supply basic data for corporate and capacity planning as well as commercial processes and long-term strategic planning.
Price and cost control :
- Internal - cost optimization and monitoring of the cost limits
- External - securing adequate prices
- In order to - Contribute as far as possible to a good result.
Communication :
- Guaranteeing problem-free communication internal as well as external. Provide the Sales Team with all relevant market and customer information.
- In order to Maintain and build up internal and external problem-free customer-supplier relationship as well as developing a product and customer strategy.
Customer supplies during projects and / or EOP :
- Guaranteeing problem-free customer supplies in order to avoid interference or standstill in production at any cost within the framework of the (central) planning responsibility.
Leadership :
- Leadership of the team and flexible adaptation of the team structure to internal and external requirements in order to - keep the team efficient and motivated.
