About CSR:
CSR is a new emerging area, where it is estimated that 16,000 crore of spending is being done by corporates annually in India.
Times Group which is India- 's largest media house has a division called Times CSR solutions - which is engaged in conceptualising and executing CSR projects and platforms for corporates. Times CSR has top corporates as its key clients, and has conceptualised and run many award winning projects to its name - including Hero TOI Green Drive, Economic Times 2 Good 4 Good CSR ratings (developed in partnership with KPMG), American Express - TOI partnership for Teach India to name a few.The division has been on a steady growth path for the last few years, with a CAGR of more than 50% p.a. and is now expanding its resource base in a big way to effectively tap this emerging business segment
About Role:
CSR business is driven by certain key accounts that account for 90% of the business. These relationships have been nurtured over time. Key accounts servicing team will drive engagement with key accounts in terms of new ideas and concepts to grow business with these accounts.
The team will also be responsible as project managers for big CSR projects looking at project planning, profitability, driving on-ground execution, creative development of marketing collateral, legal agreements and accounting compliance. They will be supported by specialist teams - creative, on-ground, editorial, accounting, legal teams with whom they will coordinate.
Finally the team will also develop new IPs together with external agencies/ subject matter experts
We are looking at managers who will be part of this team and will drive the above - and will be standalone resources.
KRAs/ KPIs
- Sales target achievement for key accounts - Sales/ Servicing current key accounts (10 in number)
- Timely delivery of projects - (Project management)
- Number of monetisable new IPs developed
- The role requires good understanding of CSR landscape, client facing exposure and analytical, creative abilities
- Ideal fit would be mid-level executives in big, reputed NGOs who are responsible for fund raising or partnerships. We could also look at progamme managers. However they should have good understanding of P&L, accounting, etc ---basically if they have worked in some role in an earlier organisation or thru their education.
- Another possible fit would be wealth management professionals or even marketers wanting to work in the development space. An indicator of such interest could be those who may have done a fellowship or a short stint in a programme like Teach for India etc
