Kapso - Manager - Business Development (1-3 yrs)
Job Description :
We currently operate out of Mumbai and Bangalore and are looking for both locations.
- Networking:
- Networking with people, attending seminars, and Working with associates and analysts across the regional locations to get new clients
- Interact with investment bankers, counterparties, advisors & consultants.
- Represent the company at times at Investor Conferences, shows, and meetings with investors.
Handling key client accounts :
- Getting all the important information from the client through telecalls, personal visits & field trips to their office/factory/outlets, and then analyzing the information
- Presenting the above information to the buyers in the best possible manner as to close the merger/acquisition deal
- Preparing pitches and deal execution materials
- Find potential acquirers for targets handled via LinkedIn, database, personal contacts, and leads given by our team
Financial Analysis :
- Understanding business dynamics and translating those into financial models
- Basics of business valuation to be able to explain to investors how the valuation has been arrived at Extract information from company accounts, databases, and other sources, using accounting knowledge and judgment
Research :
- Generate content from the data collected and make it presentable for online publishing & internal reports; do necessary research work (client & industry-specific)
- Summarize and synth news updates/research reports and updates of ongoing M&A mandates
