Kadence - Assistant Sales Manager (5-7 yrs)
Responsibilities :
- Establish a sales target for each dealer that results in meeting or exceeding the territory sales objective. Work with each dealer to reach an agreement on the target and assist each dealer in developing a sales and promotion plan for our products.
- Conduct detailed analysis of all markets in the territory, in the aggressive pursuit of new business opportunities for all product groups. Sign new dealers where appropriate.
- Maintain an image of professionalism and foster good relations with all assigned dealers by establishing clear business objectives and optimizing dealer communication (in-person, phone, or via electronic means).
- Serve as a trusted dealer advisor and resource for Inventory control and sell-through, advertising and promotion and product training.
- Document territorial activities and maintain dealer information in our CRM tool, record dealer visits, calls and emails daily, maintain and update individual dealer records and contacts on an ongoing basis
- Maintain excellent relationships with dealers and internal stakeholders
- Maintain a very close working relationship, i.e., orders, dealer inquiries, dealer relations, messages
- Work with the respective credit manager(s) assigned to the territory and the Credit Department Manager reviewing dealer credit lines, keeping dealers in shippable condition.
- Provide insight on territorial trends, market needs, and competitive actions
- Assist dealers in problem-solving and satisfying customer needs. On an as-needed basis to assist dealers in sales and customer satisfaction.
- Submit field and expense reports in a timely manner
- Respond to phone calls, e-mail messages, and dealer requests on a timely basis.
- Preserve the confidentiality of the company's business systems and documents
Desired Skills and Experience :
- Good business judgment in the selection of a proper distribution network for markets within a territory to meet current and future needs.
- Experience with maintaining positive dealer relationships with effective influence.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Interact and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organisation and with external clients (dealers and institutions).
- Detail-oriented, organized, effective planning skills
- Timely documentation of expenses, dealer visits, dealer phone calls and competitive information
- Must be able to plan and execute travel schedule for sales calls, trade shows, dealer events pan India
- 5-7 years related experience. 5+ years sales experience in the product or retail industry
- Master/Bachelor's degree in business or related field
