JV Ventures - Associate - Deal Generation (2-6 yrs)

Role Summary:

The Deal Generation Expert is responsible for driving growth for the organization by ensuring a continuous flow of potential leads to partner with companies across India, focusing on the construction of living spaces for employees. This role involves facilitating strategic expansion by entering new markets.

Key Result Areas:

1. Identifying, developing, and securing innovative business opportunities and Scouting for greenfield opportunities to develop new employee housing projects and secure partnerships with growth-ready organizations and companies.

2. Scout for potential greenfield projects in the employee living sector, particularly in growth corridors across promising markets. Develop and maintain a comprehensive pipeline of potential deals, ensuring all opportunities are tracked, nurtured, and advanced through the business development cycle

3. Initiate negotiations with potential partners, ensuring favourable terms that align with strategic goals.

Tasks:

1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, real estate developers, infrastructure project companies, and other reliable sources to generate leads and connect with property owners.

2. Create compelling presentations for prospective partners, showcasing expansion and growth strategies for employee living spaces.

3. Conduct extensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and gather all relevant data regarding the region and target organizations to aid informed decision-making in acquisitions.

4. Develop and maintain an active database of potential leads with relevant details, providing updated lists to decision-makers at agreed frequencies.

5. Travel and network extensively, conduct cold calls, host meetings, and presentations to explore new growth possibilities, build relationships, and generate a targeted number of strong acquisition proposals.

6. Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to assess viability and enable smooth processing of deals.

7. Provide management reports on agreed frequencies about deal progress, and highlight any potential risks or challenges.

8. Stay up-to-date with industry developments in the employee living infrastructure sector and provide regular inputs to decision-makers.

9. Participate in due diligence assurance by conducting preliminary assessments and collaborating closely with legal and financial experts.

Candidate Profile Specifications:

- Education: MBA in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a Related Field.

- Experience: 2-6 Years in Infrastructure/Property Acquisition Roles, Preferred From Hospitality Sector.

Skillset:

1. Strong understanding of the hospitality sector, including acquisition trends and the development of new employee living spaces or residential projects.

2. Design thinking and creative skills.

3. Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.

4. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work within timelines.

5. Proficiency in CRM, analytics and presentation tools and techniques.

Other Conditions:

1. Willingness to travel extensively.

2. Should be able to join within 60 days from date of offer.
