Position Overview :
- We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead our financial process outsourcing (FPO) services in the New Zealand market. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, establishing strategic partnerships, and expanding our client base for financial process outsourcing solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive sales and revenue growth for financial process outsourcing services in the New Zealand market.
- Identify and target potential clients within the financial industry, including banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, and other relevant organizations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in client organizations, understanding their business needs and positioning our FPO solutions as valuable and cost-effective.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitor activities, and potential expansion opportunities.
- Actively seek out and qualify leads, leveraging various channels such as networking, referrals, industry events, and cold outreach.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized FPO proposals and solutions that meet the specific requirements of clients.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company and the client.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecast revenue projections, and provide regular reports and updates to the management team.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions affecting the financial process outsourcing landscape in New Zealand.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, effectively promoting our FPO services and expanding the company's presence in the market.
Qualifications :
- Proven track record of success in business development or sales, preferably within the financial process outsourcing or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of the New Zealand financial market, including regulatory requirements and industry dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence senior-level decision-makers.
- Demonstrated ability to build and nurture long-term client relationships, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and delivering value-added solutions.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Flexibility to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 08 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in financial process outsourcing or related financial services.
- Familiarity with financial accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, or other financial processes is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in successfully closing deals and generating revenue in a B2B sales environment.
