Job Title : Junior Engineer - Sales & Marketing

ORGANISATION RELATIONSHIPS
Report To : Manager - Business Development / Marketing
Supervises :
Co-ordinates with
Internal : Inter departmental functions - Production, QA, Warehouse, Finance
External : Clients / Buyers
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Overall responsible for Marketing, Business Development & Sales
Responsible for maintaining good customer relationship
Supporting Purchase Department.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Generic Responsibilities
1 Coordinate Sales activities with inside sales and manufacturing departments within and affiliated group companies.
2 Communicate/coordinate activities with Logistics/Quality departments within and affiliated group companies
3 SAP entries: Enquiries, Sales orders, schedules / forecast, customer complaints, important communication with customer, MU or internal.
4 Monitoring the delivery schedule and ensuring the timely delivery of orders to customers as per schedule.
5 - Update customers with delivery schedules vide order confirmation and any other necessary communication related to their orders and supply.
6 Follow up with customers for timely receipt of schedules, payment and statutory forms; highlight this to Sales Manager for cases of concern and requiring attention.
7 Handling of New Projects and New development Parts and Update to Customer
8 Handle all Purchase related processes, like raising Purchase request, Purchase order
9 Sending RFQ for new items or existing items and gets quote cost reduction knowledge .
10 Analyzing quotations/Bids etc., and preparation of comparative statements
Function specific :
1 Strong Written and Verbal communication skills as well as effective interaction at all levels and across diverse cultures.
2 Ability to read / understand Engineering Drawings
3 Ability to effectively deal with Suppliers with Strong Negotiation skills.
4 Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and prospects.
JOB SPECIFICATION :
Qualification : Degree/Diploma in Mechanical /Automobile / MBA
Other Technical/ Professional Qualification :
Experience : 4 to 6 yr experience in Marketing & Sales from Automotive Industry / Fabrication Industry
Skill Sets & Competencies :
1 Good communication and presentation skill
2 Leadership Skill
3 Strong Written and Verbal communication skills as well as effective interaction at all levels and across diverse cultures.
4 Should have good analytical skills and strong in change management.
5 Basic computer operating skills, SAP/ERP operating knowledge pertaining to the related functions
6 Good understanding of budgeting process
7 Knowledge on organization goal and strategic planning
8 High degree of Integrity towards organization Principles and time management skills.
